In my coaching program we focus on eating to reduce inflammation (among other things), and I encourage clients to support your local farmers market, shop on the outside aisles of the grocery store where the fresh produce and fish/meat are located, and start experimenting with different foods in your kitchen. Aim to “eat the rainbow” every week, and get your family (kids included) involved in the meal planning/prepping process. Healthy habits start early and in our busy/noisy world with lots of unhealthy grab and go options, it’s easy to go down a path of processed/ high in sugar and other additives options.
